Swim Schools International – The Swim Teacher Instructor is the highest swim level capable of training and certifying Swim Teacher Level 1, Level 2, Adult and Baby Swim.
Becoming a Swim Teacher Instructor not only teaches you to train and certify other teacher levels, you will learn all other aspects of running a successful swim school, e.g. – scheduling, deck managing, etc. If you want to become self reliant, this is the rating you want to achieve.

– Swim Teacher Baby & Me and Swim Teacher Adult

The SSI lesson plan is known as the Gold Script and it allows us to create an open enrollment program without adversely affecting the progression of any swimmer.
Classes are tailored to the individual based on ability, not on a timeframe for completion. If a swimmer is ready to move up to the next level, this flexible lesson plan allows for that to occur on an individualized basis, instead of waiting for the entire class to reach their final goals for the level.
Swim Schools International – SSI Swim Teacher courses are taught by Certified SSI Swim Teacher Instructors who have undergone all the following SSI Swim Teacher courses:
SSI Swim Teacher Baby & Me
SSI Swim Teacher Level 1
SSI Swim Teacher Level 2
SSI Swim Teacher Adult
SSI Swim Teacher Instructor
In addition, our Trainers have at least 10 years of swimming teaching experience in Singapore and have at least one of the following International Swim Teacher certifications:
National Registry of Coaches – NROC (Swimming)
AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming & Water Safety
ASCTA Swim Australia Teacher
STA Award in Swimming Teaching
SSI has years of experience developing and implementing certifications, with over 40 years in the realm of Scuba Diver certifications.
SSI ported over the strong underpinnings of that certification process and applied it to swim teaching to create the most prepared and capable swim teachers in the world.
The SSI Swim Teacher Training Course will consist of:
1. Classroom Sessions
2. In-Water Training Sessions
3. Apprenticeship Training Sessions (Attachment to SSI Swim Teacher)
4. Practical Test
5. Theory Test
To ensure the highest safety standards, all SSI Instructors must have the following:
First Aid
CPR
Oxygen Provider
